Are You A Good Candidate for Nonsurgical Spinal Decompression?

At Performance, we have been providing spinal decompression treatment in New Jersey for a number of years now. We offer the most innovative and state-of-the-art technology in the DRX9000 to treat cervical and lumbar disc bulges, disc herniations, as well as degenerative disc disease, facet syndrome, and spinal stenosis.

Although the DRX9000 is typically an excellent non-invasive treatment option, not everyone that presents with the conditions listed above is a candidate for this spinal decompression therapy. If you have had cervical or lumbar spinal fusion, or have any hardware such as screws, plates, metal mesh, or cement work you are automatically disqualified from treatment with the DRX9000.

Some other grounds for exclusion are moderate to severe scoliosis, aortic aneurysm, unstable spondylolithesis, advanced osteoporosis, and cancer of the spine.

DRX9000 Spinal Decompression Therapy in Central Jersey

When a patient does qualify for treatment, we consider the age of the patient, level of spinal degeneration, whether or not there is a single disc herniation or multiple levels of involvement, overall health, and likelihood of treatment compliance. We only want to initiate treatment with those we feel will benefit and are willing to do their part. Because of this, we are able to help the overwhelming majority of the cases we accept.

There is also an art to the actual set-up and harnessing process on the spinal decompression machine itself. It needs to be set up properly in order for the healing to being. Which is why it’s important to have a spinal decompression doctor with expertise and experience; the machine does not do all of the work. We like to think we have mastered the art of the DRX9000 set-up; however, we continue to learn everyday and place a high priority on education so that our patients always receive the best care possible.

Is Performance Rehab In NJ Right For You?

All of this information about spinal decompression treatments and the DRX therapy is generally new to most disc herniation patients we have worked with. I cannot express enough how important it is to go with someone with experience. You should not just be looking around for a spinal decompression machine with the best price.

This is about your health and at Performance we strive to help our patients live pain-free. If you live in or near the Somerset County NJ area, visit us online or stop by our office.  Experience matters.

We are more than happy to offer a complimentary consultation where you can sit down and speak with one of our doctors. They will let you know how spinal decompression therapy works and if its right for you. We may also be able to connect you with someone who has gone through the decompression program and can offer better insight into the process and how it has helped them.
